The Stadions: A Family with a Story

ROOTS IN THE MIDDLE AGES

The Stadion family is first mentioned in the 13th century. Originating from Swabia in Bavaria, they gradually extended their influence to western Bohemia.

ARRIVAL IN KOUT

In 1697, the Stadion counts acquired the Kout na Šumavě estate. With this, a new era of prosperity began for the region.

BIRTH OF TRADITION

The family founded a brewery in Kout. Their architectural legacy still shapes the landscape today.

SUPPORT FOR CRAFTS

The Stadions developed agriculture, education, and infrastructure. They provided work for locals and shaped the entire region.

THE STORY CONTINUES

Today, we are building on their legacy. The name STADIONER is returning to the region – with humility and new energy.
